He uses SGI and Intel Xeon workstations with Maya software, where each scene takes up to a week to render. The final product is a short fly-through of the city for shaping and future simulations.
Torres posted his first artworks for sale on eBay. He quickly built a market and became a top seller, reaching people worldwide as an independent artist. He also set up a proper studio in his home garage for the first time.
2004
Torres enrolls in Cornish College of the Art in Seattle to formalize his training and establish a practice in both design and art.
